Tom Weir

A recently erected statue at Balmaha, Loch Lomond to honour the late Tom Weir a much loved Scottish mountaineer, lover of the outdoors, author and presenter of a much watched TV series "Weirs Way" in which he travelled around areas of the country he loved and wanted to share with all
It is still shown today many years later and a current remake has followed in his footsteps
