University Centre: Cambridge
Today, as this picture is my 1095th blip (corresponding to three years of blipping) and we had not been out at all during the week, we decided that a walk around Cambridge with our cameras was in order. So, Mrs GOG and I, went into Cambridge, stopping for morning coffee in The Green Coffee Company café and for an excellent roast lunch in the University Centre. During our walk I took quite a few pictures of Cambridge, most of these typical of the pictures that tourists take; some of these might have made quite good blips. However, the picture I chose to use was one of the University Centre, where we lunched, from just across the River Cam. The University Centre is the building in the middle of the picture with the flagpole on its roof. This picture captures most of the characteristics of Cambridge, the river, the punts and the University and relates directly to our day out.
