Keeping it Simple
A big springtime job is sorting out all the various containers in the garden. I was appalled recently when I did a quick mental tally and found there were about 100 around the place. You can get away with neglect and a bit of top dressing + slow release feeding for a while but they all really need a good sort out this year. The containers are all different shapes and sizes and contain huge specimens such as wisteria, clematis and a climbing rose. I don't even want to think about the number of lily bulbs lurking in spent compost. So where do I start ? Keeping it simple, I started out with the smallest ones. This Echeveria is now ready to go outside when all danger of frost has passed. 99 to go.
