Original Fireplace

Wow! well I wasn't quite expecting this!
Out with the old fireplace to find an even older one. Its massive and the original lintel in tact.
Not finished yet as the old hearth tiles have to be removed and new stone to be put in its place, stove installed and then the decorating starts. Just pleased I wasn't around to see the mess! :)
