Afternoon Sunlight near Swyncombe

The view this afternoon from the tiny settlement of Swyncombe in Oxfordshire, in the Chiltern Hills between Henley and Wallingford, looking westwards over the Thames Valley. Wittenham Clumps, depicted in many paintings by the artist Paul Nash, can be seen emerging from the haze on the distant horizon.
