Ice Skating

Mr PB (otherwise known as my weatherman) cheered me up by telling me that this week would be dull, dry and warmer than last, meaning no frost/ice. Ha, wrong, everywhere was white when I looked outside, but it wasn't slippy  and with the sun rising it was beautiful.  These gulls were practising their figure skating this morning.

Poppy update: The actual poppy is complete, just got the background left. I have started to quilt it but don't like it. So if I unpick the stitches there is the possibility I will have pin holes. Or do I try and infill the loose swirly free machine quilting?  I think I will do the former fingers crossed.
