To Our Dynamic Earth for a small one day conference on areas protected for nature. On the dry side. Indoors for most of what looked like a glorious late winter day. Grabbed this shot of the Scottish Parliament building through the wings of a bronze sculpture of two fulmars outside Dynamic Earth (framing made difficult by extensive stainless steel supports). Then instead of rushing home, met Dr RJ for out-of-hours Southside photocopying and a guilt- and babysitter-free drink. Then back to a quiet flat ...
