The return of the Bownsy wave

The Cardiff Devils have hit a rough patch of late. Sport is such a confidence game, suddenly everything that had been going right, was going wrong. Our usually reliable netminder Ben Bowns was symptomatic of this, giving up soft goals, rebounds, and generally looking like a man ridden with doubts. Tonight the game against the Sheffield Steelers was crucial, another loss tonight and the title race was over.
We played like the confident, aggressive team we had been a month ago, and won 4-0. This saw the welcome return of the Bownsy wave, where he comes out after the team have gone off, and gets the crowd to do some audience participation. But only when we win.
