An elegant shepherd?

This is my entry for MonoMonday, China. The figure is one of a pair, inherited from my mother. They are quite fine and the colours and glaze are  as fresh as if they were made yesterday. I like the dog and the lamb, but their owner is very smartly dressed to be working with a dog and sheep!
And is he carrying bagpipes?
