Ploughing

I was wandering the lanes today to photograph the annual hedge cutting, usually done in February. The cutting of hedges in banned from March first to allow the wild birds nest in peace...and I like that...

I love the way the gulls follow the plough waiting to see what delicacies might emerge... reminds me of the gulls following the homecoming trawlers    just saying
