Corner of the Corner China Cabinet

Pretty much a mono day here today.  And not much blipping time so decided to do the monomonday “china”.    This is really scary—I took the picture with my iPad, processed it kind of “vintage” in snapseed on the iPad, then went to the laptop and there it is! having just zoomed in from the cloud.   Not sure I will get used to,  or even like, all this synchronicity….


That being said,  the picture is of H’s mother’s antique corner cabinet.  And her Royal Crown Derby cups and saucers and another very old HER mother's English teapot. (the clown man is hers  too - Royal Dalton.)    The little espresso cups ( "demitasse"?) underneath belonged to my mother.  They are also English. They all just sit there and look pretty.  Have no idea what will happen to them with the next generation…….
