Eurasian Curlew

I know take my camera loaded with my big lens and the monopod mount everywhere there could possibly be birds! This was a very lucky one-and another new one! This Curlew was standing so beautifully posed on the defence rocks at Muttrah Corniche! He does look slightly out of place as that beak is only useful for getting worms and Crustacea out of mud-but hay! Another bird to my collection.
