Date night!!!!

Once a month Kaz and I get to go out on Date Night when Deb comes over to look after the kids. I then go to her house once a month so her and Jorn can go on their Date Night! It works really well! The kids know Deb and I really well so they are no problem and it gives us some precious alone time!!

Kaz and I left just after 6.30 once Deb had arrived. I hadn't told Kaz where we were going for dinner which was a bit exciting! We went to The Piano Bar in maroochydore and it was just lovely! There was a man playing the piano, the setting was lovely and the food was great! It is a tapas bar so we chose 4 different dishes to share, the gnocchi Gorgonzola was the best of the night!!

We left there in search of dessert and beside the Ben and Jerry's ice cream shop there was a 7D simulator experience! We did the Great Wall of china scenario and it was fantastic! You sit on the seat with 3D glasses on and seat moves, water sprays at you, leaves get blown over, different smells come and things hit your feet, it is amazing! It only goes for about 6 minutes but it's great!

We then had Ben and Jerry's ice cream by the beach which was lovely and then since it was only ten past nine we went ten pin bowling!!!

We were home by 10pm and had a fantastic time!! We are so lucky to have awesome friends who appreciate the alone time as much as us!!
