Reflections

My client who stood me up for lunch a few weeks ago is about to come good today . . . I hope! I'm on station at L'Illa shopping mall near where we live and he's only running a few minutes late.

This morning I went to the technical services of the local authority to progress our licence to close our street to the general public. The man had done nothing since I fixed the appointment three weeks ago.
'What's it about?' he asked.
I nearly hit him!
We agreed that I'd come back in two weeks when he's had a chance to look into it. The application was made over a year ago.
