Just opening

I don't often catch cyclamen just opening, so was pleasantly surprised to see this one doing just that.

A really foggy morning so JJ was late going off to golf and I went back to the library in Olney to do a little bit of research for a fellow blipper.  Reasonably successful too, which pleased me no end.

Lots of birds flitting in and out, including eight blackbirds vying with the squirrels for food I put out for the ground feeders.  I've learned to split it into about eight piles to cut down on the squabbling.  The pigeons have really good eyesight and I only have to point a finger and they fly off. One of the nuthatches has been in, plus a single dove and two starlings, which is very rare.

I'll be missing tomorrow as I have my camera club in the morning, a quick lunch and off to MK to see The Jersey Boys at the theatre, followed by an early dinner at Raymond Blanc.  Home in good time to see Wolf Hall.
