Red poppy day

Our piece of history has just arrived.

This is one of the 888,246 handmade ceramic poppies that made up the art installation 'BLOOD SWEPT LANDS AND SEAS OF RED' which stood at the Tower of London between 5th August and 11th November 2014

The installation commemorated the centenary of the start of the First World War in 1914.
