There's not a lot of opportunity for street photography out here, and it's something I do want to try out. In the meantime there is always field work. Best part of that is the tree folk stand still a lot longer, and don't mind if you get right in there with the lens.
This was taken with the nifty fifty, almost certainly one of the cheapest Canon lenses and perhaps one of the sharpest. Still waiting for the quote for repair to the 17-55 EF-S... hopeful it won't be too daunting; it's only a nifty fifty days to penniless retirement now (contents may shift, E&EO, almost certainly contains nuts).
