Humdrum Day...

Today's been one of those days that as soon as it's over, it slips away from the memory as if it's never been.  A filler not a thriller.

Slept later than planned.  Did the usual chores - empty/reload dishwasher, ditto the washing machine and tumble drier, tidied the kitchen, gave Alan lunch, ate my lunch watching Escape to the country, made a boring phone call (reporting another fault on Alan's wheelchair), thought about what to make for our tea (decided on chicken salad) and placed an online order.

The highlight of the day was 20 minutes in the garden playing with my camera and this chrysanthemum head, but even the end result of that was pretty humdrum hence the reason for processing it to hell.

I imagine the rest of the evening shall continue in this humdrum manner, with dinner to eat, some shirts to iron and humdrum tv to watch.

And there it is....my filler day captured in all its glory for eternity :-)))

PS Saw the following on FB today and it made me laugh.....

Love is spending your life with someone you want to kill but not doing so because you'd miss them.
