"The Rows"
We are in Chester, and this is a typical building in the city centre. It was restored in 1888, but typifies many others dating from the 14th to 16th centuries. The name refers to the two-tiered rows of shops and other premises in Chester.
We walked the City wall perimeter today. It was pretty cold, but lots of interesting things to look at. Then we spent time in the magnificent Cathedral before moving on to Nantwich.
