Snowy's Gate - Midgehole, Hardcastle Crags

A few months ago this was a rickety old gate, hanging on by a single piece of rope.   Now someone has replaced it with this rather posh one and added this memorial plaque.   I haven't  read the book but what a lovely thing to do.
