Thin ice

Crept  out of the house while everyone else was still in bed after their Superbowl marathon. It sounds like it was an interesting game. 

After completing my training course, I managed to get out for a chilly lunchtime walk round the lake. There was a thin covering of ice that the ducks were perching on. As soon as we stopped to take a photograph, the ducks flocked towards us hoping for some food. As you can see from the open beaks, they were making lots of noise too. 

So nice to be able to get out in some fresh air in the middle of the day in such beautiful surroundings.
