Catching Up With Old Friends

Enjoyed my first round of golf in almost a month this morning and the chance to catch up with my regular golfing partners.

I also renewed my acquaintance with the pond at the 4th hole here, although I managed to avoid putting a ball in it for once.

I particularly wanted to play today as my friend Dave starts his chemotherapy treatment next week, having been diagnosed with cancer of the oesophagus, and he's not sure whether he'll be up to playing golf once the treatment starts, so it might have been our last round together for a while.
