A starfish survivor...

This little guy (.5 cm) has obviously had a run in with a vrab. Starfish are very good at regnerating. This guy is a little confused. He started as a 5 legged starfish, but seems to be regenerating as a 6 or 7 legged starfish. The pattern on the glass is due to a less than wonderful glass cleaning (scrubby pad removing algae).

These little guys are actually reproducing in my tank. I started with 2 or 3 that hitched a ride on my live rock and now have at least 26. Some are whole and perfect. Most have been munched a bit.
