Long Tailed Tit

Not the shot I intended to use for today.  I needed to go into town to do some shopping and had some ideas for shots while I was there.  While there I discovered it is difficult to take shots with a flat battery when your spare is at home!

As a result I came back with no shots.  I was racking my brain for other indoor possibilities when I saw these little guys on the feeding station.  Not exactly rare (they have shown a 2% increase over the last 40 years) they aren't common in our garden.  I managed to get this shot through the window spoiled a little by the reflection of the blinds.

We also had another unusual visitor to the garden today, one I haven't seen in almost a year  (well not in the garden) - Stock Dove.
