Puffin

We got up early and picked up Steve on our way to the ferry from Whidbey Island to Port Townsend. We landed just in time for a yummy lunch. We walked around town and then met the NW Photography group for a chartered boat ride to Protection Island. There we saw cormorants, lots of Bald Eagles, seagulls, one elephant seal, harbor seals with pups. The Piece de la resistance were Puffins. Also Pigeon Gillimots. And Rhino Auklets. We had Mexican dinner with the group and then headed home on the ferry.
