The Brasenose Unicorn

The story goes that the Brasenose Unicorn had a certain part of his anatomy removed in preparation for a visit by Her Majesty the Queen in 1948. It was judged that the sight of the generously endowed mythical creature would be too much for the royal's delicate constitution and it was swiftly detached to spare Her Majesty any shame. Post-visit however, the college administration pondered as to whether or not permanently deprive said creature of his manhood. This prompted such outrage within the student body that the administration conceded and the Unicorn was swiftly restored to his full glory. He maintains his striking position watching over students in the Brasenose dining hall to this day.
