Sunset

I picked up my mom this morning and we drove about 40 minutes away to meet with my two sisters and have lunch together.  My sister Tami wanted to try this new place in town and it turned out to be both healthy and delicious. 
Afterwards we had coffee and sat around talking for quite a while before I drove my mom back home.  All the while I was driving I kept admiring the sunset and the sky.  I was hoping to make it back to my moms before the sun disappeared.  Just as I turned onto my moms street, the sun caught my eye as it was peeking through the tall trees with snow all around them. 
I pulled over the car and got some great shots.  I got them just in time too because in another few minutes the sun would have been gone.
