The Park
Today I hustled myself to an unimpressive conference by 8am (ugh), with the major pleasure afforded by 44th floor views from the Hearst building where Norman Foster (the Lord Foster of Thames Bank, if you're asking) had phoenixed a chimerical diagrid on the stolid 6 ground floors of Joseph Urban's design.
That was the visual highlight of my day. The rest of it spent trying to analyzing where Tsipras/Varoufakis are headed and whether the Danes will abandon the peg, and then quite happy to be assigned 3 Chopin preludes, in a return to serious piano after literally 40 years.
Sprints tomorrow.
