Take My Hand
One of our school values is Whanungatanga - a relationship through working together and sharing experiences. The children will all produce a piece of art to illustrate this idea. Today two classes began making Aboriginal dot paintings. They traced around their hand and began outlining the hand with small dots. They could experiment with patterns and symbols inside the hands. It was a very relaxing activity for the children and the room was very quiet which is always a sign they are concentrating.
