Long tow home.

Spotted the mussel boat towing the mussel harvesting boat going past our place this afternoon. It is going to be a long trip back into Havelock. The boat being towed (the harvester) would have at least 70+ tonnes of mussels on board. Behind them you can see some of the mussel farms along the coast line.
We had a call at 10.32pm last night to take some people to Havelock, departing from Waitaria Bay at 7.00am!! Yikes! this meant I had to get up early.
Anyway, PJ got away to do that. We had throught that he had the day free and had promised my cousin & her husband that he would go over and give them some advise on how to build their wharf. But when he got to Havelock, he found he had to wait for a couple of hours to bring one person back..........so he was very late getting to them.
In the meantime, I had to go to a working bee at the golf club, but managed to get away after an hour or so.
When he got back he finally  got over to work on the wharf, and I sat around at home waiting to organise 10 more people to get to Havelock tomorrow morning.
PJ took Gyspy with him, and Poppy stayed with me. After hours of trying to sort out travel arrangements for the 10 people travelling tomorrow, Poppy and I drove part of the way to where PJ was working and started walking. We had walked for about an hour when they came along the road.
