This tent is the centerpiece of the Ujese Carnival...  Carnival starts this Friday in southern parts of the Netherlands. 

Carnival (also called "Shrove Tuesday" - eve of the fasting) is originally a Catholic feast, which possibly has pagan roots and is celebrated in the three days preceding Ash Wednesday. According to tradition, the festival lasts from Sunday to Tuesday - "Shrove Tuesday". At midnight begins the Lenten season of40 days, until Easter.... Carnaval
