The Now

I know I said I would be not be blipping till the weekend but i had a spare half hour before going out this evening and the sun was out and so I could't resist playing with an image that has been forming through the day.

The hour glass from yesterday kept coming to mind with its black sand flowing through the neck.

It struck me that it is quite a visual picture of our lives:

The neck is 'The Now' but we so often live regretting our past, or fearing our future, that we completely forget to live in the present

Used the sun and a white foam backing to produce a high contrast image to focus the attention on the three states of sand in the glass
