Dear Diary,

By some minor miracle, the internet has righted itself and I'm back on-line from home this morning.  Yesterday was a series of minor miracles really, the most important one was that D was not hurt when the ice slid off the roof and knocked him off the ladder.  I was giving thanks for the 6 foot snow pile he fell on and the fact the ice block missed his head!

Ollie made is appearance late in the day and let me get quite near to him.  Just as I was focusing on him we gave me a nice big wink!  "Lighten up, honey!  The only important thing is that D is safe and sound!"  He is so right!  Sometimes it takes a minor miracle to set everything in the proper perspective.
