Interesting or just plain boring..
Yes its a bus shelter. But this bus shelter has an interesting history;
During WWII Czechoslovakia was split by Nazi occupation and the Government fled to London. There they stayed until the blitz forced them out into the countryside. The President went to live at The Abbey in Aston Abbotts which a small country residence hidden from view. The rest of the government stayed locally in Aston Abbotts & Wingrave and learnt to play darts in a local pub, though their favourite drinking hole was The Bull Hotel in Aylesbury, which is no longer standing.
During this period the President noticed that when waiting for a bus the local people would get wet when it rained & so wanted to give something back to the people of the two villages who had shown such kindness. So he paid for the construction of a brick built Bus shelter on the Aylesbury to Leighton Buzzard road. It was completed in 1944 at a cost of £140. It is more or less how it was when it was built & has a metal plaque outlining the story.
There is more info here including some history of The Abbey at Aston Abbotts:

Photographically its not particularly interesting but I leave it to you to decide on the story of the President's Bus Shelter.
