May in the Mist
The greyest of days today but the air around the house is heavy with the wonderful scent of May blossom. This is looking down the garden to the mown path through the young orchard. I like to leave the grasses and wild flowers to flower and set seed, they attract so many insects and butterflies. The large rock is an erratic boulder left behind when the ice withdrew during the ice age!
Spent quite a bit of the day painting the house inside, then had a business meeting with freespiral over tea and scones, we do our meetings in style! We are launching a series of postcards, so today we chose 25 images.
It really brings you into the garden if you go large!
