A Shocking Experience

Feeling virtuous doing some ironing. Noticed kink in lead so tried to straighten it. Ouch! Unbeknown to me there was an exposed wire! Hence the tape. But tomorrow it is "bye bye dangerous thing" and welcome to a safe replacement.
Note to Jimbob. Not sure gloves would have helped.
