Fake

Okay maybe this photo wasn't taken today but I've looked at it a lot. This photo is of my uncle with stage 4 cancer at his vow renewal last week. It completely wiped him out and he is still tired now!

Today was his 52nd birthday and a particularly special one... Mainly because we aren't sure if he will celebrate his 53rd.

When we went to see him earlier Tim and I were both taken back by his bald head- once again chemo has claimed his hair and it was a bit of a shock. I had a lump in my throat when he was telling his 2 grandsons (5 & 2) that they had pulled it out last time they saw him. It's amazing how 'fine' they are with it, rubbing his hair and pretending to put theirs onto his head.

Today was a family and friends day and I caught up with lots of them! I have a feeling our spare room in Norfolk will always be full!
