canals

we had a fab trip round the canals of Amsterdam, instead of sitting in the boat and drinking beer all night, I sat with the captain on the back looking at the city as we floated by.  It looks really lovely from the water.

So many of the big old buildings are being converted into Hotels, I wonder if there will be any residents left soon.
