Icons of Industry

This is the old Georgia Pacific site on the Bellingham waterfront. The Port of Bellingham took over this site ten years ago. the port and the city have been negotiating plans for the site ever since. Much has been torn down but nothing new has gone up. I don't expect the development to be complete within my lifetime. These towers are the icons of the site. Many of us hope they will not be torn down.
