Wee wooly hats:-)

Once I managed to get my grumpy lot moving today we headed out to Balmaha.

At the end of last year, 29th December, to be precise a new statue was unveiled of Tom Weir, writer, broadcaster, campaigner, and Scottish icon:-). The statue was unveiled on what would have been Tom Weir's 100th birthday.

There is a wee song by Aberfeldy that immortalises Mr Weir, it's a wee favourite of ours so a wee trip to the statue was a must...for me anyway:-) Ah, the Barmy Army enjoyed it too.

Mr Weir is famous for his wee wooly hats...the Fangle and I made sure we had ours on today :-). He's much cuter than me though.

And we had a great walk with glorious views along Loch Lomond...and we saw a red squirrel, yes a red one:-)
