Water Energy!

After swimming this morning, visiting a friend for a coffee and having lunch with my youngest son Graham I caught the bus home to Trawden. 

When Ted and I got off at the bus stop which is on the main road I walked passed this contraption. I am not sure what it is, maybe a sluice gate. There used to be a weaving mill quite near to it. Maybe someone  knows on blip.

All Ted and I know is that water should be utilised to provide energy more than it is.
