Walkin' on the beaches.....

... lookin' at the peaches? Not.

Today we had a Biology trip to investigate seaweed distribution along a rocky shore. Sounds quite dull, but it was lovely to be out of the lab! The pupils were great and worked from 10am until after 7 pm to finish their reports. The 3 teachers then hi-tailed it to the nearest hostelry for a burger and pint and coffee.

This is a photo of a little row of cottages in Donaghadee. At the far left the white building is the yacht club, which we invaded for the day.
