M loves baboons, and during this visit we have seen them on more than one occasion, but were unable to stop to take pictures. Today they happened to be playing in the road next to a parking area, so we could stop there. The young ones were playing in the road, and my heart stopped every time a car came around the corner at high speed. Sometimes they had to honk the horn to get them to move and go to the side of the road and safety.

This big baboon, the mom or dad or caretaker of the little ones, did not do a good job in my eyes, he was more concerned in searching through the waste bins to find something to eat, than to reprimand the children for playing in the traffic!
