Derelict Thursday

The image on the sign gives some idea of the era when this Bistro in Tiverton was in its heyday.

Now it appears to be empty apart from a few bits of ancient furniture visible through the window. Don't think it will be entertaining many lovers this Valentine's Day.

Thought it was time I got back into blipping routine.

We got Tess's Dad out of the flat for the first time today, even if it was just to the Doctors' surgery (twice) and the chiropodist. He wasn't looking forward to having to deal with people yet, but everywhere we went people seemed to know both him and Tess's Mum and hold them in great affection.

Everyone was so kind and he coped really well - and Tess got a hug from the chiropodists!
