The start of true summer

Weirdo. After almost eight years with us since being rescued from the alley, she is still a scootchy, suspicious furball at times.

The cake pops from yesterday were a huge hit. Also a hit: the newly refurbed water feature. Kids are so cool. If you explain to them why certain things has to be a certain way, they understand and respect that. Mister diaper pants is barely taller than the water boulder but he stood and slapped the cascading water with gusto, smiling from ear to ear and getting his little convict stripe, short onesie soaked in the process.
