Boring Blip alert.....

Boring blip alert.....
......but symbolises my day well! (not a boring day, but the food I made!!!)

I had a day off today so once all my reports were done and out the way (so it wasn't a true day off clearly) I made myself familiar with my new food processor. My bargain £15 Tesco special I bought yesterday, reduced from £60. Because it's blue. And my kitchen is red! It's cheap and cheerful but does the trick and will hopefully last long enough for me to save for a decent one - or at least till I know I will use it enough to justify spending more than £15 on one. 

And so I finished off blitzing my almond butter that I tried to make in the liquidizer and broke it, then made an amazing tomato sauce which apart from being a tad spicy from the extra jalapeño I snuck in, was delicious and so very healthy. I watched 'How to eat well for less' last week and was shocked at the amount of sugar that goes into a jar of tomato pasta sauce. No sugar in this one!

And so my new blue processor is a success and I even managed to find space in a cupboard to hide it in!

So that's my boring blip.

And Mr W has been offered a full time job driving the lorries he's driving for an agency. But it full time nights. I'm wanting to say yes as we need the money to get straight after the Bank of Daddy for New Zealand but I'm not sure if I can cope with full time nights. Maybe he can just trial it???? Decisions Decisions.
