Bare Stalks

Another dull day!
There were a couple of things of note:
On the way to school this morning we saw a massive flock of birds whirling around. Miss L said it looked "amazing - like a floating road!!"
And secondly the handiman came round tonight to install a new toilet seat (so glamorous!!). I didn't know he was at the door because the doorbell doesn't work, he'd been stumbling around outside in the pitch dark because the outside light doesn't work and then when he went into the bathroom I'd forgotten that the last of the three bulbs had gone this morning so he had to do it with only the torch on my phone for light.
What must he have thought of us?!! Ha ha!!!
