Cotswolds fungi

We arrived in the Cotswolds for a weekend of walking and fresh air just in time for lunch. The Lygon Arms in Chipping Campden obliged with a lovely meal then we walked it off: up Dovers Hill and down into the Vale of Evesham and the woods of Weston Park... Which is where we found this intriguing fungi on a moss covered log, no idea what it is. After our walk we settled into our cottage in Bourton-on-the-Hill, and had dinner in the local pub, the Horse and Groom.
