Bees hibernate in winter

Not. Until I had bees myself, I thought they did.

It was about -10°C last night and around -1°C when this photo was taken but the bee hives were being bombarded by sun and a few girls were out enjoying the chance to stretch their wings and take a drink.

Hope they got home in time as it's going to be at least as cold tonight.
