Happy Darwin Day

Recently Steve and I joined the humanist society - bit of a pre req for the type of marriage ceremony we want. That's ok though as we feel quite aligned with humanism so it is the right thing for us.

Tonight we attended a fascinating lecture addressing "what would Darwin say to creationists today?"

The speaker was introduced by Richard Dawkins and her name is Dr Eugenie Scott. She is a physical anthropologist and she was fascinating to listen to.

I really liked the fact that she was making the discussion about the science rather than focusing on religion. Really enjoyable evening - and very informative.

Other than that my day was pretty good and tomorrow is Friday!
